An elegant way to tie the knot
The Stables is an elegant, light and spacious room, dedicated to civil ceremonies. With leaded windows, oak beams and stunning marble flooring, this is the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony.
The Stables has the perfect backdrop for you to add your own colour scheme and flowers for that personal touch.
Chiavari chairs and a registrar table are provided for your use during the ceremony and there is an iPod connection to the PA system, which allows you to play your choice of ceremony music.

Colshaw Hall has Barretts Event Caterers as the exclusive Colshaw Hall food and drink suppliers. Barretts have highly skilled chefs who can create delicious elegant wedding feasts for you and your guests. They can also provide the best in canapés and drinks packages to make your reception complete. Barretts staff are happy to work with you to create your ideal menu at a budget that suits you. For inspiration and examples of the dishes Barrett’s talented team can deliver, please view the Sample Menus. Barretts pride themselves on using the very best produce, responsibly sourced and locally supplied wherever possible, so you can be rest assured that our food is of the highest quality. The menus are not set in stone, so you can mix and match to create the perfect menu for your wedding. Budgets are key for planning any event and there are no hidden charges when it comes to the menus.

Crockery, cutlery, white damask linen cloths, napkins, chefs and waitress service. We appreciate that you or your guests may have dietary requirements to cater for, which they will tailor to your needs.

Capture the romance and splendour of the day in photographs taken in any number of spectacular locations around the Hall and within the grounds. The driveway and entrance, Japanese style garden with miniature lake and Magnolia Gardens are just a few of the impressive and picturesque spots, which can act as a backdrop to your portraits, to create memories that last a lifetime. Guests will arrive and be greeted by the Toastmaster then welcomed into the Pavilion. Barrett’s staff will provide you and your guests with reception drinks of your choice. Then walk out on to the walled gardens, where your guests get to see the splendour of the house.

It combines English grandeur with state-of-the-art facilities to create the perfect setting for your special day. Light floods in through the magnificent windows which line either side of the wedding suite, giving you stunning views of the surrounding grounds at Colshaw Hall. The Peel Suite offers a stylish bar, large space for dining and PA system with projector. It is the perfect romantic location for a grand wedding celebration.
Sumptuous feasts and tempting treats
The Peel Suite has in-house catering facilities so you can offer your guests a memorable wedding breakfast in the most luxurious surroundings. Celebrate your wedding with a divine dinner of tempting treats such as Tian of Scottish Salmon, Lemon and Rosemary Roasted Poussin and Rich Chocolate Marquis. The bride and groom will sample the dishes offered by our highly skilled chefs who will create a sumptuous and elegant wedding meal for you and your guests.
State-of-the-art facilities
This contemporary wedding suite combines English elegance with modern facilities. The Peel Suite has air conditioning to provide climate control, keeping your guests warm or cool and there’s a state-of-the-art audio visual system for your entertainment. Colshaw Hall will also provide many of the facilities that you’ll need as standard, where as other wedding venues in Cheshire may charge a supplementary fee. For example we will provide a Master Of Ceremonies, a Wedding Coordinator to be on hand throughout the day, tasteful tables, bespoke chairs, white table cloths, napkins, cutlery, crockery and glassware for the wedding breakfast and evening reception, without it costing you an extra penny. Saying ‘I Do’ in the grounds of Colshaw Hall
Imagine taking your vows outside in a classic landscaped garden. Colshaw Hall has three gardens, licensed for wedding ceremonies: the Magnolia Garden, the Walled Garden and the Japanese Gardens. Both gardens are available over summer months between April 1st and October 31st for the ultimate in elegant weddings. A garden wedding will be a truly memorable event for you and your guests.
Our wedding coordinators will advise on seating arrangements and how the day will run from your ceremony through to a drinks reception in the Walled Gardens. Our team are experienced in outdoor weddings and will explain what happens if the weather doesn’t run according to plan!
