JAM Duo
When it comes to setting the perfect tone for your wedding, nothing compares to the sound of live, professional musicians. JAM Duo is made up of just two people — Anne-Marie (Cello) and Jules (Piano) — and together we deliver elegant, expressive music throughout your day.
We use our own high-quality instruments and sound system, and we’re fully equipped to perform indoors or outdoors, even in venues with no access to power. With JAM Duo, you’re guaranteed a genuine, personal performance — we never use backing tracks or substitute musicians.
Ceremony (Option 1)
- 15 minutes of music whilst your guests arrive
- Music for the entrance of the bride
- Two pieces during the signing of the register
- One piece as the newly weds exit
Drinks Reception (Option 2)
There’s nothing more awkward than a quiet room. JAM Duo provides beautiful, live music to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere as your guests mingle. The warm blend of cello and piano adds elegance without overpowering conversation. Our fee is fully inclusive and covers up to 90 minutes of continuous live music during your drinks reception.
Wedding Breakfast (Option 3)
JAM Duo offers a mix of cello and piano duets or cocktail-style solo piano during your wedding breakfast. Prefer classical piano? That’s no problem — Jules is a professional pianist with a wide repertoire to suit every taste. We typically perform for around 90 minutes, finishing as dessert is served to avoid interrupting your speeches.
Cocktail Hour
(Option 4)
JAM Duo can provide music during your cocktail hour which typically follows the wedding breakfast. This is a great chance to up the tempo and get people ready for the evening party which follows. This part of the day is often overlooked but is a key moment as your evening guests will start to arrive. Having music at this point helps keep the atmosphere alive.
First Dance
(Option 5)
The cello is often described as the most romantic of all string instruments — making it the perfect choice for your first dance. JAM Duo can perform your chosen song, arranged live for cello and piano, creating a truly special moment.
