Nestled in the Yorkshire Dales near the ruins of Barden Tower, The Priest’s House is one of North Yorkshire’s most atmospheric and historic wedding venues. Steeped in history, the 15th-century chapel and its adjoining oak-panelled rooms provide a truly unique backdrop for a wedding — rustic, intimate, and full of character.
On this occasion, it was our privilege to provide the music for Maurecy and Leigh’s wedding, a celebration filled with personal touches, eclectic song choices, and a wonderful atmosphere.
A Chapel Ceremony Full of Atmosphere
The ceremony took place in the ancient chapel, where Jules performed on the venue’s grand piano while Anne-Marie played her Yamaha electric cello. The combination of rich piano tones and soaring cello melodies created an unforgettable soundtrack to such a special occasion.
A particularly touching element was that Maurecy and Leigh entered the ceremony together — a beautiful symbol of unity and partnership.
