JAM Duo at Liverpool Town Hall
We recently had the honour of performing for a wedding at Liverpool Town Hall, providing live cello and piano music for both the ceremony and the drinks reception. The atmosphere was electric – the combination of the building’s grandeur and the warmth of live music created something truly memorable.
Our setup of Nord Stage piano and Yamaha electric cello sounded beautiful in the space, and the natural resonance of the Main Ballroom carried perfectly without the need for excessive amplification. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made everything effortless from start to finish.
It’s always inspiring to perform in a venue with such architectural splendour and civic pride. The ceremony music, including Can’t Help Falling in Love and Halo, set a wonderfully romantic tone, followed by a lively drinks set featuring Sky Full of Stars and All You Need Is Love – fitting choices for this vibrant city.
