Today was our first visit to the renowned Elmore Court in Gloucestershire.
The house was originally established as a home in the 13th Century and has views over the Cotswolds countryside and River Severn.
The same family opened it up for fun and games in 2013.
Hired on an Exclusive use basis for weddings and parties, Elmore Court includes a historic stately home and its grounds (some of which they are now rewilding), a soundproof rammed earth party venue, amazing food, fine wine, boundless music and a large slice of love.
Today JAM Duo were at Elmore Court for Hollie and Barry’s wedding.

The Wedding Ceremony
Today we started indoors for the wedding ceremony which was then to be followed by an outdoors drinks reception.
The beautiful bride walked in to our arrangement of ‘Everlong’. Even though not a big space, with quite a large number crowded in for the ceremony we used quite a bit of amplification on our electric cello and piano. This was certainly needed for our rendition of ‘Together in Electric Dreams’ as the newly weds left the ceremony room amidst a roar of applause and cheers.
The Wedding Drinks Reception
Whilst the photographer (our good friend Ian Baker) took everyone outside for the confetti shot, we made our exit through a different door so we could seamlessly set up outside on the lawn for the following drinks reception.

Jules and Anne-Marie absolutely loved today’s wedding and it was a pleasure for us to provide music for a wedding at Elmore Court in Gloucestershire. We have been following Elmore Court for quite a while on social media and this is our first of several weddings we are playing for here in 2022.
