This can take the form of cocktail piano solos or a blend of cello and piano depending on your preference.
Music for your Wedding Breakfast
Some venues might already have a piano in the room where your wedding breakfast is being held. If this is the case, and assuming the piano is in tune, then with permission from the venue we will probably use the instrument which is there. However, we always bring our own Nord Stage piano along with our portable power supply so we can literally set up and perform anywhere indoors or outside.
In most cases we will play for the duration of your wedding breakfast. This will include music as your guests come into the room and then lovely ambient music whilst they eat. We tend to finish once your final course is being served or after a maximum of 90 minutes, as this is generally the point where speeches might start occurring. It is best for us to be out the way before the speeches, rather than moving around during the toast which would be a distraction.
If you are planning to have speeches before your meal then we can still provide 90 minutes of music whilst the food is being served. However, do please let us know as this can often lengthen our booking by up to an hour and may incur an additional charge.

Whilst we are primarily focussed on providing background musical entertainment for your wedding breakfast, the beauty of our amplified setup is we can quickly move to a more upbeat set if the guests prefer that. We have had guests singing along to a rendition of ‘Angels’ by Robbie Williams between courses on more than one occasion! Equally some guests prefer to quietly listen to some piano jazz from the 1930s! No matter what, our experience will ensure the music is perfectly suited to your wedding.
The video below was filmed on an iPhone by a wedding guest at Crowcombe Court for the wedding of Eloise and Thomas in April 2023. It has not been edited in any way other than to add a title! Nor was it pre planned – we simply got chatting to a lovely lady at the wedding and she asked us to play something from Bridgerton which we duly obliged. In return we simply asked her if she would mind doing a short video on a phone whilst we played.
