GreenAcres Heatherley Wood is a unique, natural cemetery and ceremonial park in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. This special place can be uplifting, even at a time of great sadness.
Open Evening
JAM Duo were privileged to be invited to provide music for the grand re-opening of GreenAcres Heatherley Wood. Near Farnham in Hampshire this unique site is set amidst acres of glorious woodland and wildflower meadows.
The brief was to provide music during an evening drinks reception where families and suppliers were invited to the grand re opening of the venue at Heatherley Wood.
Corporate Events
As well as playing for weddings, JAM Duo are equally adept at playing for Corporate events. We particularly blend well for Drinks receptions and similar events. In many ways tonight’s event was very similar to a Drinks Reception at a wedding – the main difference of course being there was no bride.
Given the nature of the event and also the type of establishment we did tailor our play list to appropriate songs. This was particularly important as there were some families there of recently bereaved. In many ways it was nice to play a slightly different repertoire to that we would normally perform for a wedding.
The Cello is very adept at different types of music but particularly good at long phrases and so well suited to this type of music.
