The Wedding
Caroline and Simon
Kings Lynn Registry Office, Norfolk
24 July 2021
It was another lovely sunny day as we headed to Norfolk for another wedding. Today’s venue for the ceremony was Kings Lynn Town Hall in Norfolk with a drinks reception held in a family home nearby.
As we had been in Ascot the previous day for Michelle and Kyle’s wedding, we headed North and stayed overnight in Peterborough rather than returning home to the Cotswolds. This meant we had plenty of time for breakfast and to then make the short trip from Peterborough to Kings Lynn for the wedding which was due to start at 12 noon.

Music for the Wedding Ceremony
Today’s beautiful bride and her bridesmaids walked in to At Last by Etta James. This is an increasingly popular choice and given how many weddings have been postponed due to the Covid pandemic it has a certain irony about it too!
Wedding Drinks Reception
After the ceremony we travelled a short distance to a garden venue for a drinks reception before the guests enjoyed a bbq and evening entertainment. As we were outside we had to add a little amplification to the cello and our digital piano.
Setting up on a small patio area we then played a range of contemporary and classic covers to entertain the guests whilst they enjoyed a glass of pimms on the lawn.
