Today we were back near Henley in Arden for the wedding of Jess and Chris which was held at Wootton Park. Wotton Park is an exclusive use venue in a beautiful setting, located in its own 360 acre valley of rolling Warwickshire countryside, farmland, woodland and landscaped grounds.
Outdoor Ceremony
With today’s lovely lakeside setting, once again we had to make use of our portable power supply to provide electricity for our Digital Piano. No problem to us as it’s always charged up and ready to go – increasingly we find, even indoors, that it’s just easier to connect up to our own power supply rather than trailing cables and extension leads all over the place.
We set up at the front of the seating area and did have to use a little amplification as the ceremony itself was still some distance away and we were keen to ensure that Chris and Jess could hear their chosen wedding music!
After the ceremony, we relocated to perform during the drinks reception. This meant carrying everything a few hundred yards back to the main venue. But no matter, we were ready to play once again after about 10 minutes at the most.

Whether your drinks reception is being held outdoors or inside, JAM Duo can provide the perfect ambience. Our playlists cover everything from Classical through the Jazz and Popular covers. In a lot of cases, we are left to choose music for the drinks reception usually just with some guidance as to whether the couple prefer classical music or something more contemporary / upbeat.

JAM Duo are in fact based on the Wiltshire / Gloucestershire border, but recently we have played for a lot of weddings in Warwickshire – with still a few more to come over the next few weeks.
