I couldn’t have asked for a better duo to play our ceremony music. So talented and you can tell this is a true passion for them. Thankyou both for helping create such a special moment for us that we will remember forever!! Not only the performance but communication all the way through was amazing.

Today’s wedding was held in the beautiful hall at Loseley Park in Surrey. Loseley House is situated in 1,400 acres of glorious rolling countryside, just 3 miles south of Guildford in Surrey. You will approach the House along a mile long winding driveway passing beautiful parkland. The view then opens up to the truly magnificent Elizabethan Mansion surrounded by well-kept lawns.
Music for a Wedding Ceremony
Our job today was to provide music for the wedding ceremony held in the Great Hall at Loseley Park. Just walking into the venue, immediately it felt very special. Jules, having grown up near Guildford had been to Loseley a number of times before, but not for at least 30 years! Immediately we were drawn to the Steinway Grand Piano in the corner of the Hall, which was (almost) in tune! Whilst a Steinway, it has to be said this particular instrument was not in great condition, but was nevertheless playable and the cello could be tuned to it!
The Music
Georgia walked up the Aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon which seemed eminently appropriate in such a grand venue. During the signing of the register we played Shallow from A Star is Born and The Scientist, with ‘How Long will I love you’ for the exit of the newly Weds.
JAM Duo – Wedding Musicians in Surrey
JAM Duo are a Classical / Crossover Cello and Piano Duo. We play a wide ranging repertoire from the sixteenth century through to covers of contemporary songs. The most requested music and therefore the bulk of repertoire we play for weddings is usually from our contemporary play list which is literally everything from Elvis to Ellie Goulding. You name it, we can play it!
