JAM Duo were absolutely delighted to be finalists at this year’s South West Wedding Awards. The awards ceremony was held at the Crowne Plaza in Plymouth.
Jules and Anne-Marie formed JAM Duo officially during 2020 whilst the country was in lockdown. Whilst there were no weddings or events going on at the time – and in fact all music had stopped, it gave us hope for the future that one day we would be able to go out and make music together.
In the Summer of 2021 our new business really took off and we found ourselves inundated with weddings to play for. In fact by the time weddings were allowed again in July 2021, we found ourselves with in excess of 60 weddings and events to perform at between then and the end of the year.
We were therefore absolutely delighted to find ourselves as finalists for the South West Wedding Awards. Moreover this meant a night out in Plymouth. Lets face it after the previous 18 months a night out anywhere for any purpose has to be a good thing!

The Gala Dinner
The food for tonight’s meal was extremely pleasing and accompanied by a choice of wine. Other drinks were available but meant wandering off to the bar.

The Awards Ceremony
After the meal it was then time for the awards. The presenters for the awards were Matt Rogers and Victoria Leigh.

This is our favourite event of the year, it’s always so much fun, you lot are wild – the wedding industry definitely know how to party! Plus we get to dress up, eat nice food and leave the house after dark – what’s not to love!?Matt and Victoria
