JAM Duo were delighted to be asked to take part at an open day for prospective wedding couples at the Hare and Hounds Hotel in Westonbirt just on the outskirts of Tetbury.
The Hare and Hounds
Picture a magnificent country house filled with a host of indulgent things to do during a relaxing stay in The Cotswolds. Eat good food, drink fine wine and enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep in one of their beautifully designed bedrooms. Sink into a cosy armchair with a book in the library or play a board game in the relaxing ambiance of the drawing room. Take a leisurely stroll around the secret wilderness of our English country garden and surrounding woodlands. The Hare and Hounds, part of the Cotsold Inns Group, is a home away from home, where happy experiences occur and everlasting memories are formed.
Wedding Fair – January 2022
January through to March is a prime time for Wedding fairs and Show arounds. As a rule, JAM Duo do not attend lots of these events, preferring to pick and choose ones where we think we would be a good fit.
Living as we do near Westonbirt, we sometimes walk to the Hare and Hounds for a drink on a Summer’s evening, so it was a no brainer to be part of this event.
We set up in the ceremony room, effectively taking over one end of the space with our banners that we have specifically for such occasions.
Listen to us Play
We find the best way to approach wedding fairs and open days is simply to provide music whilst the couples look around the venue. We don’t go for a hard sell or stand around handing out leaflets. We like to believe that our performance will sell itself. After all that’s what you are buying into. You can also hear us play by heading on over to our listen page.

JAM Duo play for weddings all over the UK but we are always delighted to play for weddings nearer to home and we love playing at venues in Gloucestershire.
We came across some really lovely wedding couples at today’s Open Day and we are hoping to be involved in some of their weddings, either at the Hare and Hounds or other local venues.
