During the quieter periods, we often try to attend wedding fairs, and wedding open days at a variety of different venues all around the country. For us, this is a great opportunity to meet prospective wedding couples and promote our music to them for their wedding day.
Brackenhurst Campus, Nottingham Trent University
This is a brand new wedding venue in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside; a rustic, relaxed and modern rural estate, offering the perfect setting for your wedding.

JAM Duo at Brackenhurst
Having stayed over in a hotel the previous night, we arrived in good time for the Wedding Showcase at Brackenhurst Campus. The venue is only a mile or so from Southwell so we made a note to go and visit the town and it’s rather lovely Minster later on in the day.
We were given a space to set up in a lecture theatre which had been converted to become a rather splendid room for either a wedding breakfast of Evening Dance space. With fourteen couples booked for show arounds during the day, we had the opportunity to perform a selection of our most popular songs whilst the couples looked around the venue.
The open day ran from 11am through to 3pm and couples were booked for show arounds each hour. This gave us plenty of time to select some suitable music to play as they walked around the new venue and we had a chance to meet with each couple and discuss music for their wedding day.

Brackenhurst Campus is a brand new wedding venue at Nottingham Trent University and has its first wedding booked for Summer 2022. What music to have at your wedding?
JAM Duo can provide a range of popular covers or classical music to suit all tastes. Our Cello and Piano Duo is ideal for various times during your wedding day from the Ceremony through to Drinks Reception, Wedding Breakfast and First Dance. We can also do a more upbeat evening set with our Electric Cello.
