Stallingborough Grange is an elegant thatched hotel in Lincolnshire not far from Humberside Airport. Driving up the night before the Samantha and Nathan’s wedding, we stayed at the Hilton just by the airport.
This worked out quite well as we had been in Nottinghamshire the previous day for Georgia and Daniel. After their wedding we took a quick trip to Lincoln for a spot of dinner and a wander around the Cathedral. This turned out to be most pleasing and we learnt that William Byrd was at one time the organist in Lincoln Cathedral.

Given that we are back into another heat wave in the UK, it was a pleasant surprise to find an indoor ceremony in an air conditioned room!

Drinks Reception
After the ceremony we moved outside to continue playing for another hour or so while guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on the lawn.
We had been given the freedom to play anything during the drinks reception so chose a fairly contemporary play list of songs to fit with the music chosen during the wedding ceremony.
