Today’s wedding was our second visit to The Manor Hotel at Moreton in Marsh which is situated in a central part of the Cotswolds. Being familiar with the venue does have a few advantages not least knowing that we could park right outside a side entrance to the ceremony room which made it very easy to unload our kit into the venue.

Today we were providing music for the ceremony and this included our lovely black piano shell which you can see pictured above. The piano shell really does enhance the look of our duo – not that there’s anything wrong with our Nord Stage Piano which in itself looks rather cool at a drinks reception! But for the ceremony the shell does add that touch of class. This was particularly striking in the delightful surroundings of the Manor Hotel in Moreton in Marsh with its traditional Cotswold Stone and stylish interior decor.

After the Ceremony Jessica and Alastair were taken outside for the confetti shot along with the group photos so we didn’t get a chance to speak with them. However we do wish them every happiness and we also enojyed seeing some of the lovely touches which they had arranged for their wedding. Some of these you can see in the gallery below.
The venue
The 4* Manor House Hotel is a charming 16th century coaching inn with a relaxed country house atmosphere. Dating back to 1539 when Henry VIII granted the Manor to the Dean and Chapter of Westminster, the hotel has a fascinating history.
