Today we were back in Yorkshire only a few days after the delightful wedding of Paul and Emma at Holdsworth House.
The time the venue was Holmfirth Vineyard and the wedding was between Kelly and Wesley. Our booking with Kelly was in fact made quite some time ago and so this was a wedding we have looked forward to with anticipation for a while. And it certainly did not disappoint.
Holmfirth Vineyard
Sheveling Wine Estate at Holmfirth Vineyard provides a romantic setting for your special day and a vineyard experience that will leave a lasting impression on your guests. Whether you’re planning to tie the knot in the Summer or Winter, the landscape is captivating and dramatic all year round and creates memories to cherish forever.
They offer a range of packages and complete versatility of the vineyard to make your dream wedding come true, with bespoke options for an indoor or outdoor ceremony, outdoor blessing or magical twilight wedding.
The Wedding
Starting with the indoors ceremony we set up at the rear of the room as advised by the wedding team at Holmfirth Vineyard. The music chosen was great and we were delighted to see a Queen song included as the couple exit.
We did however, take careful note not to play anything by Ed Sheeran as this was a specific request of the couple!

After the ceremony we moved into the bar area to set up and provide music during the drinks reception before returning to the ceremony room which had been turned around for the wedding breakfast.
We were at the back of the room but it seemed the guests were loving the music and there was a fair amount of singing along going on – certainly from the tables near to us. As well as Robbie Williams we also played, at the couple’s request Adagio for Strings.
Again this just shows the variety of the work we do and why we love it so much. It is always great to find out the music choices from our couples to see what they love, and indeed what they don’t and then tailor our music sets accordingly.
We really enjoyed being a part of Kelly and Wesley’s wedding and we wish them every happiness as they embark on their new future together.
