Standing elegantly amongst acres of historic rolling parkland, The House, a Grade II* Jacobean style home built in 1872 makes for a stately and prestigious wedding venue.
Weddings ceremonies of up to 200 guests and seated dinners for up to 150 guests can be hosted in an array of rooms, five of which are licensed for ceremonies
This was the beautiful backdrop for Christina and Daniel’s Wedding day where JAM Duo were providing daytime music for the Ceremony, Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast.
The Wedding Ceremony
This was our second visit to Shuttleworth House and this time the ceremony was held in a lovely upstairs room in the main house. Setting up at the back of the ceremony room, as directed by the venue co-ordinator and in line with the couple’s instructions we had plenty of space and the perfect view to provide music for the ceremony.

On this occasion the venue provided the exit music through their own speaker.
The Drinks Reception
After the ceremony we relocated back downstairs to the main entrance hall for the drinks reception which again was being held indoors. This allowed the couple to use the main entrance steps for a lot of the group photographs. We particularly liked their confetti line up where they walked out the main door under cricket bats being held aloft!
Wedding Breakfast
After the drinks reception we moved again to set up for the wedding meal. There wasn’t a lot of space in the meal room but with careful planning and the help of the fabulous catering team we found a space which wasn’t in anyone’s way from where we could provide music throughout the meal.
We really enjoyed being part of Christina and Daniel’s wedding. We are already looking forward to providing music for Christina’s sister Kayleigh-Anne when she gets married next year.
