JAM Duo love playing for weddings at Bredenbury Court Barns. One of the more popular wedding venues in the West Midlands it is a well thought out space which makes our job even easier, providing music as we do from ceremony through to first dance. This was the scope of the music we were providing today for Mike and Mary-Anne.

The Wedding Ceremony at Bredenbury
Most couples who choose us to provide daytime music for their wedding at Bredenbury Court Barns opt to include our black gloss piano shell as part of the package. Todays wedding between Mike and Mary-Anne was no exception. Unloading from the main car park, as directed by the Bredenbury team we set up, as usual, at the rear of the ceremony room.
Music for the ceremony
Mike and Mary-Anne had chosen some great music for their wedding ceremony at Bredenbury Court Barns which included:
Pre Ceremony
I’ll be there for you -Friends Theme
Bridal Entrance
I get to love you – Ruelle
Signing
Portuguese Theme (Love Actually)
Can’t help falling in love – Elvis Presley
Exit
All the small things – Blink 182
The Reception
After the ceremony we moved just along the corridor to swiftly set up again in the bar area to provide music during the drinks reception.
From our space in front of the mirror we were able to provide music throughout the drinks reception while guests enjoyed drinks from the bar. Typically at this point we provide music for around 90 minutes or the duration of the drinks reception provided it is not much longer (or shorter). Our cue for relocating into the meal room is generally the point where the bride and groom are called in to look at the setup before the guests are invited to take their seats.
In the ‘barn’ at Bredenbury we set up in the corner of the meal room by the top table as requested so that we could provide music throughout the wedding breakfast. This meant we could then stay in situe for the first dance which, at Bredenbury, usually occurs around 8pm directly after the cake cutting.
Mike and Mary-Anne had chosen ‘A Million Dreams’ from the Greatest Showman for their first dance and they had learnt a routine to match our arrangement.
It was our absolute pleasure to provide daytime music for Mike and Mary-Anne at Bredenbury Court Barns. We enjoyed being a part of their wedding day and we wish them every happiness as they set off on their married journey as husband and wife together.
