A Perfect Day of Music at Ashton Lodge for Hannah & Steve’s Wedding

Nestled in the heart of Warwickshire, Ashton Lodge Country House is a gem of a wedding venue that combines timeless elegance with a relaxed countryside charm. With its exclusive use policy, beautifully refurbished interiors, and stunning gardens, it’s the ideal setting for couples wanting a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor celebrations. On 20 June 2025, we had the pleasure of performing here for the wedding of Hannah and Steve — a day filled with love, sunshine, and unforgettable music.
Ceremony Music in the Elegant Lodge
The ceremony took place indoors in Ashton Lodge’s stylish ceremony room, filled with natural light and emotional anticipation. We began playing as guests arrived, setting the tone with a romantic and varied pre-ceremony set that included:
- Yellow – Coldplay
- Canon in D – Johann Pachelbel
- Stand by You – The Pretenders
- Never Enough – The Greatest Showman
- Marry You – Bruno Mars
As the bridal party began their walk down the aisle, the atmosphere became electric. A beautifully timed entrance started with A Sky Full of Stars (Coldplay) for the ring bearer, bridesmaids, and maid of honour, followed by the poignant “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)” for Hannah’s entrance with her father — a moment that was both moving and magical.
During the signing of the register, we performed:
- Hallelujah
- Tale As Old As Time from Beauty and the Beast
The ceremony concluded on a joyful high as the newlyweds walked out to our upbeat rendition of “Africa” by Toto – a brilliant and crowd-pleasing choice that brought smiles all around.
Garden Vibes for the Drinks Reception
With the formalities complete, guests moved into the beautiful gardens for drinks, conversation, and plenty of sunshine. We relocated outside and continued the celebration with a lively and romantic mix of contemporary and classic covers.
