Some wedding days just have that perfect feel – the sunshine, the setting, the people, the music – and Danielle and Steve’s wedding at The Lawn in Rochford ticked every single box. From the glorious outdoor ceremony to the relaxed drinks reception and joyful wedding breakfast, this was a day filled with laughter, sunshine and the kind of live music that makes moments even more memorable.
The Lawn – A Picture-Perfect Venue
Set within beautiful gardens and surrounded by peaceful Essex countryside, The Lawn is a dream for couples wanting both grandeur and greenery. With its historic Georgian house, elegant outdoor ceremony area, and sweeping lawns, it’s a venue that feels effortlessly romantic.
And on this bright and beautiful day, it became the perfect backdrop for Danielle and Steve to say “I do.”
Outdoor Ceremony – Love Under Blue Skies
With the sun shining and guests gathered on the lawn, we set up with our Nord Piano and electric cello and began the ceremony with a carefully chosen prelude of timeless favourites:

As the bridal party took their places, Danielle made her entrance to the unmistakable and emotionally charged “Bittersweet Symphony” by The Verve — a stunning choice that built perfectly in the open air.

After the ceremony, everyone moved to the front of the house to enjoy drinks, laughter and sunshine on the lawn — and of course, more live music from us.

Wedding Breakfast – A Soundtrack to the Celebrations
As guests moved inside for the wedding breakfast, we joined them — swapping the lawn for a cosy corner indoors where we continued playing during the meal with our piano and electric cello duo.
