JAM Duo is made up of two professional musicians, Jules & Anne-Marie (hence JAM). We are a Cello and Piano duo who perform for weddings and events throughout the UK and Europe. You can find out more about us by reading our short bio’s on the About Us page.
How we formed our Duo
Our Duo was formed in 2020. For us it was (and at the time of writing, still is) one of the most positive things to have come out of the Coronavirus Lockdown.
Jules & AM currently work together as the ‘Music Team’ for Cirencester Male Voice Choir. During lockdown we spent a lot of time creating music together for the choir. This partnership proved so successful, we decided to form a piano and cello duo to bring our music to a wider audience.
Why JAM?
The concept of JAM first came about when we started creating rehearsal tracks for our choir. Contrary to what you might think it is in fact nothing to do with a conserve or indeed the concept of jamming in music. Quite simply, JAM is our initials – Jules & Anne-Marie (or AM as she prefers to be known!).
Where do we Perform?
JAM Duo are based near the Gloucestershire / Wiltshire Border in the South West of England. We naturally perform at lots of events in the South West and throughout the Cotswolds. But we can also perform further afield anywhere in the UK or Europe.
