JAM Duo are committed to an honest and transparent policy when it comes to pricing. We know that weddings can become extremely expensive and so, for many, budgeting will play an important part in your plans for the big day.
Alongside a need to balance the budget, weddings are the one occasion where you want everything to be just that little bit extra special.
Having live musicians at your wedding is one of the ‘special finishing touches’. Music plays an important part in every wedding day. From the Entrance of the Bride through to the First Dance, getting the music right can sometimes be almost as important as choosing the right dress.
Sticking to the Budget
When it comes to price, budgeting for your wedding is key. This is why JAM Duo offer fixed price packages for music at different times of your day. You can see how this works in the pricing structure below.
Unlike a lot of musicians, we do not charge per ‘set’ or for a fixed length of time. Rather we price based on the structure of your wedding day. Broadly speaking for most couples a ceremony will be around 30 minutes, a drinks reception probably 90 minutes and then the meal a further 90 minutes.
The thing is, with the best will in the world, weddings do not always run strictly to a timetable. Having been involved in hundreds of weddings, we have always found the fairest way to price our music is by ‘event’ rather than by the hour.
Most importantly, this means there are no hidden extras, and you will never get an invoice for and ‘extra hour’. If we have agreed to play for your drinks reception then we play for the duration at a price agreed with you in advance.
