Returning again to the delightful setting of Coombe Lodge, Blagdon in Somerset, this time we were providing daytime wedding music for Emily and Josh.
Bristol Wedding venue Coombe Lodge, is a tranquil oasis in a breath-taking setting, amidst the rolling countryside of North Somerset not far from the vibrant and historic city of Bristol. This country house wedding venue sits proudly on the edge of the Mendip Hills with an incredible view across Blagdon Lake.
The Wedding Ceremony
Starting with their Ceremony we played ‘Canon in D’ for the entrance of the Bridesmaids before then blending this into ‘Here Comes the Sun’ for Emily’s bridal entrance.

We then moved into the main area of the house for the indoor drinks reception to carry on providing music up to the point guests were called in for the meal.
The Drinks Reception
Setting up near the venue Grand Piano, we continued to provide music for Emily and Josh’s guests to enjoy during the drinks reception. With the weather being on the cusp of rain and hot sunshine all at once, which is becoming quite the norm for Summer 2023, we once again opted to set up indoors which is also where we found the majority of the guests.

We always give all our couples the chance to choose the songs they want us to play. There is plenty of inspiration on our listen page but equally no obligation to pick songs from there. They are just the 200 or more that we have so far recorded.
This was a beautiful wedding and we had a lovely time providing music for Emily and Josh. We wish them both every happiness as they embark on their married life together x
