Today was a wedding with a difference. We were off to ‘Fuzzy Orchard’ near Wellington, Somerset. Fuzzy Orchard is a holiday letting with its own private pool and was the venue for Laura and David’s intimate wedding in the Somerset Countryside.

With the wedding taking place in a private house this was a celebrant lead ceremony for Laura and David in the lovely intimate setting with their close family.

With a rather short ‘aisle’ and just the one bridesmaid, this was a very short blend of two songs, but nevertheless we still managed to get in a short snippet of each song during Laura’s bridal entrance.
The Reception
After the ceremony we relocated with our instruments downstairs to carry on providing music during the drinks reception and wedding meal. Today we also had the pleasure of playing for Laura and David’s first dance which was such a beautiful moment for the two of them surrounded by their family.
For their first dance Laura and David had chosen ‘Hold My Girl’ by George Ezra. And to be fair to David, that’s exactly what he did in the most romantic moment of their first dance together.
We had a lovely time at Laura and David’s wedding and were privileged to be a part of such an intimate occasion. We wish them both every happiness as they embark on their married life together.
