Today we made a welcome return to Stretton Manor Barn near Chesterfield. This is a lovely venue which we have been to on a few occasions and always been made to feel most welcome. Today was no exception and we were there to provide music for Christiana and Ben’s wedding.

Ceremony and Drinks Reception
We started with the ceremony and set up beside the venue grand piano. The venue piano is not really suitable for us as a duo. Whilst some pianists do use it, or at least so we are lead to believe, it is not quite in tune sufficiently to blend with the cello. However, no matter, as we can discretely put our stage piano behind the Grand Piano which works well in this space and means we can provide the high quality of audio which we are renowned for.

We really enjoyed being a part of this wedding. It was a pleasure to return to Stretton Manor Barns and we loved the music choices that Christiana and Ben had chosen for us to play.
A lot of the music we played you can hear over on our listen page. However, we do not require couples to choose from this. We love finding new music to play and will play anything chosen by our couples on their wedding day. It’s important for the music to reflect your wedding rather then be restricted by a repertoire list.
We thoroughly enjoyed being a part of Christiana and Ben’s wedding and we wish them every happiness as they embark on their married future together.
