From the perfect bridal entrance at your ceremony to exquisite and unobtrusive music during your drinks reception and wedding breakfast, the beautifully mellow tone of the Cello accompanied by the depth of the Piano, creates the perfect soundtrack for your special day.
With our classical training and versatile expertise, we seamlessly adapt to any venue. From a majestic country house using a Steinway Grand piano and our acoustic Cello to an energetic outdoor party with our fabulous Nord Stage Piano and Yamaha Electric Cello, we bring the perfect soundscape to your special day.
Wedding Ceremony
Regardless of whether your wedding is taking place in a church, registry office, hotel or wedding venue, music can really enhance the occasion. Jules and Anne-Marie can play indoors or outside and bring our own portable power supply for use as necessary.
In a typical wedding ceremony there are 4 points where music is usually included:
- Music whilst your Guests are seated (around 15-20 minutes)
- Entrance of the Bridal Party
- Signing of the Register
- Exit of the Bride and Groom
JAM Duo can provide music for any or all of these parts of the ceremony. Jules is also an organist so between us, we really can cover all the music that you might need.

Wedding Drinks Reception
As you transition with your guests to the drinks reception and wedding breakfast, our performances will seamlessly blend with the joyful atmosphere, providing an exquisite backdrop without overpowering conversation or celebrations. Using the very best instruments combined with a top notch Sound system we can provide exactly the right balance to enhance your reception.
When it comes to creating the right ambiance for your wedding reception, JAM Duo is the perfect choice. We provide music for over 250 weddings a year. Our exceptional live music and experience adds a touch of elegance and charm to your special day, enhancing the atmosphere without overpowering conversations or celebrations.
We take pride in our self-sufficiency, ensuring a seamless experience for you and your guests. All we require is a small space, no larger than 2m x 2m. We can tucked away in a corner or on a stage – whatever you prefer!. With our own power supply, we can perform indoors or outdoors, adapting to any venue or setting. Our stunning Yamaha Electric Cello and Iconic Nord Stage Piano blend beautifully through our Bose PA system to provide the perfect balance of music no matter what the location.
Jules and Anne-Marie believe in providing exceptional value and flexibility. Unlike many wedding musicians, we do not charge specifically for ‘sets’ or by the hour. Our primary focus is to create a memorable experience for you and your guests, so within reason, we will play throughout the duration of your drinks reception without clock-watching.
Our experience suggests that a drinks reception typically lasts around 90 minutes, allowing us to provide uninterrupted musical entertainment during this time. This means you’ll never encounter any unexpected costs or time constraints.

Wedding Breakfast / Meal
As well as music for your ceremony and drinks reception, we offer a range of musical options to complement your wedding breakfast. Whether you prefer the enchanting combination of Cello and Piano or the stylish sounds of Cocktail and Jazz Piano, we will curate the perfect selection to match the ambiance and create a truly captivating dining experience.

First Dance
For most of our couples, this is one of the most romantic parts of your wedding day. Your first dance together as Husband and Wife. JAM Duo can arrange your favourite song for Cello and Piano, with a special performance for your first dance before the DJ takes over to get the party started.
We can arrange any song for Cello and Piano and there is no additional fee for doing so. There’s lots of inspiration over on our listen page. However, just let us know what song you would like for your First Dance and we will create a unique arrangement just for you.

Choosing Music for your Wedding
Making the right choice of music for your wedding is a very important part of your big day.
Some of our clients know exactly what music they want for each part of the day. If that’s the case then just let us know what songs you would like. There is a lot of inspiration on our listen page where you will find over 250 recordings of songs we have previously played for weddings.
The tracks on our listen page are by no means our complete repertoire. We play from a library of over 3000 songs which is growing all the time. We love to find and learn new music. When you book us to play at your wedding we will send you a music form and you can choose any song you like – if we don’t know it we will arrange it for you so we can play it at your wedding. There is no additional charge for this service!
If you don’t know where to start then we will be only too happy to make some suggestions. Maybe you have a favourite song or band? Sometimes clients are happy to leave the choice of music to us. This is often the case if we are performing for a Wedding Reception. But again if there is a particular song or songs you want included in the set list, just let us know..
