Immerse yourself and your guests in a world of beautiful music as you enjoy your wedding breakfast. JAM Duo will help to set the perfect tone for an unforgettable dining experience. This can take the form of cocktail piano solos or a blend of cello and piano to suit the mood and setting of your occasion.
Music for your Wedding Breakfast
In most cases, we will play for the duration of your wedding breakfast, from the point the bride and groom enter the room through to the moment desert is served. If required we can also play a song as the bride and groom are announced into the wedding breakfast. We tend to finish once your final course is being served or after a maximum of 90 minutes, as this is generally the point where speeches will start. It is best for us to be out the way before the speeches, rather than moving around during the toast which would be a distraction.
If you are planning to have speeches before your meal then we can still provide 90 minutes of music whilst the food is being served. However, do please let us know as this can often lengthen our booking and may incur an additional charge or will reduce the amount of music you may get during the meal.
At JAM Duo, we understand the power of music to enhance every moment of your wedding day. Jules, our accomplished pianist, will create a soothing and captivating atmosphere, allowing conversation and laughter to flow effortlessly among your guests. The piano’s versatility allows for a diverse repertoire, tailored to your unique taste and preferences.
We will also blend the piano with cello to give a variety of musical styles during your wedding meal. This could take the form of contemporary covers or more classical music depending on your taste and style. The choice of music is always yours and around 8 weeks before your wedding date we will send you our online client form where you can list all the music you would like us to play at this point.
Whilst we are primarily focussed on providing background musical entertainment for your wedding breakfast, the beauty of our amplified setup is we can quickly move to a more upbeat set if the guests prefer that. We have had guests singing along to a rendition of ‘Angels’ by Robbie Williams between courses on more than one occasion! Equally some guests prefer to quietly listen to some piano jazz from the 1930s! No matter what, our experience will ensure the music is perfectly suited to your wedding.
The video below was filmed on an iPhone by a wedding guest at Crowcombe Court for the wedding of Eloise and Thomas in April 2023. It has not been edited in any way other than to add a title! Nor was it pre planned – we simply got chatting to a lovely lady at the wedding and she asked us to play something from Bridgerton which we duly obliged. In return we simply asked her if she would mind doing a short video on a phone whilst we played.
We hope this gives you a little insight into how our music really adds a sense of occasion to your wedding meal and you can see how the guests interact with the music being played – particularly the bride who was loving our rendition of Africa by Toto.
