Over the past 12 months or so we have been to pretty much every part of the UK. But surprisingly today was our first wedding in the lovely county of Kent. The venue was Tudor Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club.

Once again we had to allow extra time for our journey to today’s wedding due to a rail strike. And a good thing we did as the addition of a car fire on the M25 (not ours fortunately) meant we were in a queue of traffic for around 30 minutes or more. No matter, we still arrived with plenty of time to spare in order to set up for today’s outdoor wedding at the lovely Tudor Marriott Hotel near Weavering in Kent.
Jules was particularly pleased to see an old London Route Master outside the hotel – sadly there wasnt time to have a ride on that as we had more important business to attend to! But this didn’t stop Jules getting bus envy and taking a photograph…..
Wedding Ceremony
Today we were just providing music for the ceremony . The Bridal entrance was Canon in D, but with a very long ‘aisle’ there was another first in that we performed the entire piece which lasts around 3 minutes or slightly more! No matter, the timing was actually perfect and the music cadenced just as Claire arrived at Gabor’s side.
After the ceremony the exit music was ‘Signed, Sealed, Delivered’, which we don’t actually get to play that often, despite the appropriateness of the title!
We really enjoyed today’s wedding in Kent and would be delighted to return to this beautiful part of the country for more weddings.
