Today’s wedding was following an Indian traditional theme but started with a traditional English ceremony.
The music chosen for the ceremony was:

I Giorni (Ludovico Einaudi)
I’m Kissing you (Des’ree)
Yellow – Coldplay
Shallow – A Star is Born (Lady Gaga)
Bridal Entrance
River Flows in you – Canon in D- Cello and Piano

Kuch Kuch Hota Hoi
Young and Beautiful – (Lana Del Ray)

Wonderwall (Oasis)
Setting up at the back of the ceremony room today we were also using our piano shell which looked fabulous in this very stylish venue.
The Grand Station
Whether you want to take the inspiration for your day from Grand Station’s transport past, or the Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s engineering; this Grade II listed wedding venue in Wolverhampton provides the perfect combination of grandeur and history for your big day accommodating between 140 and 700 guests.
The Old Ticketing Hall is a Civil Ceremony licensed room with 150 guest capacity. Adjoining the hall is a cosy and atmospheric bar where you can relax and enjoy the company of your guests over drinks. This elegant wedding venue in Wolverhampton, West Midlands can be tailored to your personal preferences and the option of a red-carpet entrance.
Evening Drinks Reception
After the ceremony we had a couple of hours spare before we were due back to play for an evening cocktail reception. Fortunately next door was a Premier Inn which came with an attached ‘Table Table’ restaurant. Ok, agreed that might not be the most stylish place to spend an afternoon but the staff were very nice to us and Jules particularly enjoyed the ice cream!
Before long we were back at the Grand Station for the evening Drinks reception which took place before the meal. For this we had to amp things up a bit as there were probably around 150 people in quite a suddenly small space! No matter though we had our electric cello and Nord keyboard teamed up with a Bose Speaker which meant we could be plenty loud enough to suit the occasion.
