The day after performing in Edinburgh for Emma and Jonathan’s wedding, JAM Duo were back on the road — driving overnight to Herefordshire for another beautiful celebration. With around 60,000 miles covered each year, we are no strangers to long journeys, and our commitment to every couple ensures that no distance is ever too far. On Saturday 6 September 2025, we had the privilege of performing at one of our most popular and much-loved venues: Bredenbury Court Barns.
A Favourite Venue: Bredenbury Court Barns
We always enjoy playing for weddings at Bredenbury Court Barns. The venue is a perfect balance of rustic charm and contemporary elegance, with its iconic Orangery providing a light-filled space for ceremonies and the terrace offering sweeping views across the Herefordshire countryside.
The venue itself has a fascinating history. Once part of the Bredenbury Court Estate, the barns were carefully restored and transformed into a luxury wedding venue under the ownership of Simon Steele. Today, it is one of the most sought-after barn wedding venues in the region, and we’re always delighted when our couples choose to marry here.

Ceremony in the Orangery
Laura and Michael’s ceremony took place in the Orangery, a beautiful glass-fronted space overlooking the grounds. The couple’s music choices created a deeply emotional and atmospheric backdrop to their vows:
Entrance of the Bride & Bridal Party
- River Flows in You – Yiruma (Bridesmaids & Page Boy)
- I Giorni – Ludovico Einaudi (Flower Girls, then Bride)
Signing of the Register
- Another Love – Tom Odell
- Nuvole Bianchi – Ludovico Einaudi
- If I Could Fly – One Direction
Couple’s Exit
- Love Story – Taylor Swift
The combination of Einaudi’s delicate piano works, heartfelt contemporary ballads, and Taylor Swift’s joyous exit song made for a truly memorable ceremony.
Drinks on the Terrace
After the ceremony, guests moved outside to the terrace to enjoy drinks, games, and the warm September sunshine. At Bredenbury Court Barns, there is a rule that speakers must remain inside the building, but this never causes us any problems. With our discreet setup, we positioned our equipment just inside while still ensuring that the music carried beautifully across the terrace and down onto the lawns below.
For this part of the day, we performed a selection of contemporary covers, keeping the atmosphere relaxed yet upbeat as guests mingled, chatted, and played lawn games. This is where JAM Duo’s versatility really shines — being able to shift seamlessly from emotional ceremony pieces to lively background music that enhances the celebrations without ever overpowering them.
Dedication and Commitment
One of the things that sets JAM Duo apart is our commitment to every wedding we play for. After finishing in Edinburgh late on Friday night, we immediately set off for Herefordshire to ensure we were ready for Laura and Michael’s big day. And once their celebration was complete, we were back on the road again, returning to Scotland for another wedding the following day.
This level of dedication is central to what we do. We bring all our own instruments and equipment, including our Nord Stage piano, cello, and professional sound system, ensuring we are fully self-sufficient and can perform in any setting. Importantly, there are never any backing tracks — every single note is performed live, giving couples a truly personal soundtrack for their day.
A Memorable Celebration
Laura looked radiant as she entered to the flowing strains of Einaudi, and together with Michael they created a day full of elegance, laughter, and joy. It was a privilege to provide the music for such a special occasion, and we’d like to thank them both for choosing JAM Duo.
If you’re planning your wedding at Bredenbury Court Barns, or indeed anywhere else in the UK, JAM Duo would love to create the perfect soundtrack for your day.
