JAM Duo were delighted to provide live music for their wedding ceremony and drinks reception, creating the perfect soundtrack for their romantic summer celebration.
A Beautiful Outdoor Ceremony Under the Trees
Kara and Spencer’s ceremony took place in one of the most picturesque parts of the estate: the tree-lined aisle in the gardens of Oxnead Hall. The warm July sunshine filtered through the leaves, creating a magical setting for this truly special moment.
As Kara made her entrance, she looked absolutely stunning. To accompany her walk down the aisle, we performed “A Thousand Years” (The Piano Guys version). With the rich, emotive sound of the cello blending seamlessly with the piano, this timeless piece brought elegance and emotion to the ceremony.
During the signing of the register, we added a joyful and uplifting atmosphere with:
- “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” – Stevie Wonder
- “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” – Queen
These fun, light-hearted choices brought smiles to everyone’s faces and perfectly matched Kara and Spencer’s personalities.
For their exit as newlyweds, we played “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)” by Natalie Cole – a vibrant, celebratory song that set the tone for the start of their married life together.
Drinks Reception Music at Oxnead Hall
Following the ceremony, guests gathered outside the Orangery for the drinks reception. As everyone enjoyed champagne and canapés, we seamlessly relocated our setup to continue performing live music in the beautiful gardens.
To keep the atmosphere relaxed yet sophisticated, we performed a mix of contemporary covers – a combination of romantic ballads and upbeat favourites, creating the perfect soundtrack for the afternoon. With our professional battery-powered setup, we were able to perform outside effortlessly without the need for mains electricity, ensuring the music flowed smoothly throughout the day.
