Owlpen Manor is a rustic-meets-refined wedding venue situated near Stroud, Gloucestershire. Set within a 215-acre estate, this romantic venue is the perfect venue for exclusive, private wedding celebrations, plus accommodation on the estate for 40 people.

With stunning surroundings, romance and intimacy, the venue can offer all you need for a wonderful, unforgettable wedding. The venue’s fantastic team of professionals will work closely with you to design your very own bespoke wedding package and will be on hand to take care of every detail.

The garden at Owlpen is an unusually complete survival of an early formal garden on a manorial scale. It has been described by the landscape architect Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe as possibly the earliest domestic garden in England to survive in something approaching completeness.

And, however that may be, certainly many visitors find the medieval atmosphere, and sense of romance and mystery, are overwhelming, with yew rooms, hanging terraces linked by gravel paths and uncomfortably steep steps, and always the hill impending steeply at its back.

The garden — properly less than half an acre and with few flowers — has been visited, admired and written about by some of the twentieth century’s most inspired gardeners, including Gertrude Jekyll, Vita Sackville-West and Jellicoe himself.

JAM Duo can provide music for your wedding or corporate event at Owlpen Manor in the Cotswolds.

Deep in a private Cotswold valley, Owlpen Manor has been described as “the most beautiful place in England.” The Tudor Manor House is steeped in over 1000 years of history, with Arts and Crafts furniture and its own community of ghosts. We are an exclusive wedding venue for 20-200 people, and we welcome guests to our nine  boutique Cotswold holiday cottages, which are all dog-friendly accommodation and perfect for families.

They offer an unforgettable stay in this hidden corner of Gloucestershire between Tetbury and Stroud, and sleep between two and eight people. Wedding guests enjoy exclusive use of our exclusive Cotswold wedding venue and events venue, centred around the historic Cyder Barn, built in 1446, and the pole barn, our spacious events barn next to it.  Visit Owlpen to enjoy private house tours and cream teas, explore the magical gardens, discover miles of woodland walks and relax in this truly English hidden gem.
