Electing for once not to stay in a Premier Inn, this meant today we were leaving our home in the Cotswolds shortly after 6am. This gave us plenty of time to make our way North to East Yorkshire where we were providing music for Friederike and Christopher’s wedding in Scarborough.

Today’s ceremony was indoors with the drinks reception planned to be held on the lawn outside the hotel. Luckily by the time we got to that point in the day the weather had improved and was actually glorious. This gave the guests the opportunity to enjoy the lovely view of the North East Coastline as it stretched away in to the distance North from our location near Scarborough.
Today was another occasion for our piano shell to have an outing. This is proving to be very popular with brides and grooms. We only purchased our piano shell in February this year and already it has been part of around 30 or more weddings with us. JAM Duo are a Cello and Piano Duo who play for weddings all over the UK. We really enjoyed today’s wedding and afterwards headed to the beach in Scarborough for an ice cream. OK so that’s very typically British, but what else should we do when we find ourselves at the sea side. There are videos of Anne-Marie dancing on the beach in her lovely dress, but that wasn’t deemed suitable to be added here!
