Today was a day of firsts. Whilst we have been to a couple of open days and also played during a NYE event at the Swan Hotel in Bibury this was our first wedding there. It was also our first meeting with the fabulous Tara Heath Arnold, known to many as ‘Tara the Celebrant’.

We have followed Tara for a while on social media and knew that she lived only a few miles from us but it wasn’t until today that our paths crossed at a wedding.

Today we had our black gloss piano shell and the first set up was in the beautiful ceremony room in the Swan Hotel.

The Wedding Ceremony

The music chosen by Natalie and Matthew was very fitting for their wedding ceremony and included:

Pre Ceremony
Dreams – Fleetwood Mac
Friday I’m in love – The Cure
Accidentally in Love – Counting Crows
As it was – Harry Styles

Bridal Entrance
I will follow you into the dark – Death can for cutie

Signing
Can’t help falling in love with you – Elvis
What a wonderful world – Louis Armstrong

Exit
Stand by me – Ben E King

Tara created a beautiful wedding ceremony with so many personal touches. If you are considering a celebrant led wedding then we would highly recommend her. You can find out more by visiting her website.

The Drinks Reception and Meal

After the ceremony, with the help of Molly the wedding planner at the Swan in Bibury we relocated out into the hotel gardens for the drinks reception.

After the drinks reception it was back indoors for the meal where the ceremony room had been turned around ready for the guests to enjoy a lovely dinner with Natalie and Matthew. As speeches were first we used this time to enjoy sandwiches courtesy of the bride and groom.

This was a lovely wedding and it was our pleasure to be part of Natalie and Matthew’s special day. They made us feel extremely welcome and it was a really enjoyable time. We wish them both every happiness as they embark on their married life together.
