This was our first visit to Northbrook Park in Farnham and so we arrived in good time as we also had to set up our Piano Shell for both the ceremony and the reception.
The Wedding Ceremony
Starting with the ceremony we had discussed a mix of Bollywood and contemporary music. Salena’s entrance was to ‘Pee Loon’ from Once Upon a Time in Mumbai.
With a mix of music this was a traditional UK wedding ceremony and so followed the usual format of Bridal entrance, Signing and then the couple exit. At this point we then had to relocate for the wedding reception.
Wedding Reception
After the ceremony which was very well led by two registrars from the Hampshire Registration Service, we moved the short distance to the room set out for the Wedding Reception.
This was a big wedding – certainly compared to a lot we get involved with. Around 250 guests seated for the reception – although not the biggest wedding we have been part of – the largest I think had nearly 600 guests.
We set ourselves up in one corner of the reception room but with a little amplification our music was easily heard throughout the room.
